FAQ: Self Service Smart Signals

Q: Can I access Self Service Smart Signals via the Infer API?

A:  If you would like access to Smart Signals via the Infer API please contact your customer success manger.  Please note not all signals are available via the API.

Q: How often are published signals updated in my Salesforce?

A: Smart signals are synced with the same frequency as your scoring.  This can be customized, however most customers use an hourly sync.

Q: When does Infer update (re-sync) a published signal?

A: After the initial sync, Infer will update a smart signal whenever an identifying field has been changed. Identifying fields are used to match a record in your Salesforce instance to a record in Infer's database.  

Identifying fields for available smart signals salesforce objects are listed below.

Lead

  • Company
  • Email
  • City
  • State
  • Country
  • Name
  • Website
  • Title
  • Phone

Account

  • Name
  • Billing City
  • Billing State
  • Billing Country
  • Website
  • Phone

 Contact 

  • Account Name
  • Email
  • Mailing City
  • Mailing State
  • Mailing Country 
  • Name
  • Account Website 
  • Title
  • Phone

Opportunity

  • Account Name
  • Account Billing City
  • Account Billing State
  • Account Billing Country
  • Account Website
  • Account Phone

Updating any of the above fields will trigger a smart signals re-sync for that record.
